A new kitchen installation following severe flood damage
After significant flood damage caused by storm Babet in October 2023, Legado Kitchens was tasked with the supply and installation of a new kitchen as part of a larger scheme of refurbishment works undertaken by D Hatcher & Sons Group of Companies.
Following the inital contact made by our client, a site visit to our clients' premise was arranged with our project manager where an initial consultation took place to establish the project requirements and a full understanding of their requirements.
The kitchen selection required careful planning and communication with the policy holder and loss adjuster from the insurance company in order to ascertain an approximate budge to complete the works.
Once a budget had been approved, we worked alongside MKM (our preferred kitchen supplier) to conduct a further site visit with our client to formulate a series of design options for the new kitchen and a scope of works for project. Following final approval on design and costs from all parties, the order was placed for Symphony Cranbrook premium range kitchen cabinets supplied by MKM, with 22mm PVC Brazillia premium worktops, appliance, fixtures and fittings.

The project was completed on time and 'in budget' and our client is now happily living back in their property upon completion of the larger refurbishment scheme and enjoying all of the benefits their new kitchen has to offer.
